Systems: What we use to do what we do

We have an extensive IT infrastructure at F E Burman and we can assist in the integration of necessary equipment and systems. Our current experience in both networking and systems integration of Sun Solaris servers, SGI servers, storage area networks including EMC, Quantam, Brocade fabric switches and Cisco networking equipment can all be of benefit. We are also well versed in the Macintosh operating system as well as wintel. We also have in-house competence in other flavours of Unix including, Linux and AIX. We are proficient in scripting, and programming in C, C++ Java, Java script, MySQL, php, and configuring and using Apache Web servers, Sendmail, DNS, ssh and ssl and Samba. All of these resources are accessible to aid with the integration of any systems.

FE Burman also has an extensive knowledge of network security and certified firewall engineers. We also have experience connecting with corporate networks and a long range history of using both private and public networkx to communicate over vast distances using cryptology and tunnelling principles so that we can not only connect systems, but we can also do it using the highest level of security available.
